But what am I getting at?
You probably aren’t an airline pilot. But nevertheless, the way you sound on the radio says a whole lot about the kind of pilot you are.
In fact, I can instantly size up a pilot just by the way he sounds on the radio. Specifically, I can tell if he’s a beginner. I can tell if he’s nervous. And I can also tell if he’s clueless about the situation. But I’m not alone. Air traffic control can do this as well.
As a matter fact, if you aren’t confident on the radio ATC will know it in seconds. On top of that, they will treat you differently. And they also won’t be as friendly. Here’s why.
If you sound nervous on the radio ATC will assume you are inexperienced and overwhelmed. They will doubt your ability to follow directions. And they will look at you as a liability. To them, you’re just some “weekend warrior” who’s out flying for fun, and probably isn’t very seasoned.
With that in mind, will they want you flying through their busy airspace? Will they trust you to be safe and proficient?
Hell no they won’t! And I wouldn’t either!
In other words, it doesn’t matter how well you fly your airplane. Because if you sound bad on the radio your credibility will go down the drain regardless of your stick-and-rudder skills.
Your confidence as a pilot
If you’re afraid of the radios your confidence will suffer. You won’t fly to busy airports. You also won’t feel comfortable whenever there’s a lot of radio chatter. In fact, every time you press the dreaded “transmit” button you’ll worry about messing up.
Now, be honest. If you’re that worried about just talking on the radio do you think you’ll be able to focus on the really important stuff? Like dealing with an emergency? Or worse yet, dealing with an emergency in busy airspace? Probably not. And is that the kind of pilot you want to be?
What should you do?
That’s a valid question. And I’ll answer it in a minute. But first I want you to imagine something:
What if you were perfect on the radios? Every time you transmitted you knew exactly what to say. And every time you spoke it sounded smooth and confident. What if you could take your airplane anywhere you wanted with total confidence?
If this were the case, would you be a better pilot? Would enjoy flying more? Absolutely. But read on, because it gets better.
What if you were confident talking to ground, tower, approach, center, and any other ATC agency? And you knew every radio term in the book.
Does that sound appealing? Well that’s exactly what my course will teach you. And on top of that, you can start learning in a matter of seconds. Because it’s just a few mouse clicks away.
Why should you get this course instead of another one? (like King Flight Schools, Sportys, ASA, etc.)
That’s a great question. Here’s the answer:
There are tons and tons of radio communication courses out there for you to purchase. Now I’ll admit, some are better than others. And there are some pretty decent courses available. But there’s one thing they ALL have in common:
All the other radio communication courses were designed and developed by general aviation pilots. And while these pilots have a respectable amount of experience within the realm of general aviation they don’t have much beyond that.
What I offer is much better:
Who I am and what I offer
My name is Cody Bias. I’ve been flying airplanes since I was 12 years old. I solo’d on my 16th birthday. And I earned my pilot’s license on my 17th birthday.
I went to college at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) in Prescott, Arizona. And while working towards my bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Science, I earned my multi-engine rating, instrument rating, sea plane rating, my commercial certificate and my CFI and CFII.
In the summer breaks between my studies, I exercised the privileges of my flight instructor certificate and taught private pilot maneuvers, aerobatics, and tailwheel operations to several students.
I graduated Embry-Riddle in 2008 Summa Cum Laude and was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate (#1 of 76 students) for my degree program.
After graduating from Embry-Riddle, I entered the United States Air Force (USAF) and attended the international Euro-Nato Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) program at Sheppard AFB, Texas. There I flew the T-6A Texan II and the supersonic T-38C Talon. And since graduating from Air Force pilot training, I have become an instructor pilot in the T-38 and have taught many students, from several countries, how to fly fast pointy airplanes in IFR and VFR operations, aerobatics, low-level, and formation flying.
Furthermore, while working as an Air Force instructor, I continued my studies with the Embry-Riddle Worldwide campus and completed my master’s degree in Aeronautical Science.
Overall, I have flown everything from the lowly single engine Piper Cub to the multi-engine supersonic T-38C Talon. I have learned, and taught, in nearly every conceivable type of aviation environment. I have degrees from the world’s most respected aeronautical university. And I offer a breadth of experience and unique perspective that no other aviation communication course has today.
The best in the world
This may sound cocky, but I believe with the utmost sincerity that my radio communication course is the best in the world.
I have tremendous pride in my work, and have poured my blood, sweat and tears into every aspect of the course. Not only that, I even sent this course out to several customers for free when I was developing it. I told them to tear up and critique every aspect of the course they didn’t like. And to offer suggestions on what could be improved. With that feedback, I removed unnecessary content, tweaked existing content to make it better, and added whole sections to the course to make it the best radio communication course there has ever been. Bar none.
I made absolutely certain that my course is unparalleled in content, presentation, and professionalism. AND I am willing to back up my claim with the world’s must unbelievable guarantee:
Unbelievable guarantee
If you finish this course and DON’T believe that it was the greatest radio communication course you’ve ever taken OR that it wasn’t worth TWICE as much as the price you paid for it just let me know. And here’s what I’ll do for you:
First and foremost, I’ll refund EVERY penny of the purchase price without asking a single question. After that, I’ll give you $25 on top of it. Either by mailing you a check or sending an electronic payment via PayPal (whichever is more convenient for you). So you’ll end up making $25 profit.
Now, why for heaven’s sake would I do something like that?
Well, I’m a business man. And I believe, in order to be successful, I must deliver above and beyond the expectations of my customers. If I have failed to do that I will appreciate you telling me so. That way, I can modify the course and make it even better and continue to outperform my competition.
That sounds great, but how much does it cost?
The course costs $99.95. Now I know what you’re thinking. That seems pretty expensive doesn’t it? Well it’s actually a bargain. And I’ll tell you why.
Renting an airplane can easily cost $100.00 per hour. And during a one hour flight how much time do you spend talking on the radio? Not very much.
Also, do you typically fly to a wide variety of airspace? Do you go from class G airspace all the way up to class B or even class A in a single flight? Probably not.
Because of this, it could take years of flight experience to learn what my course teaches you in a matter of hours. And during those years you would spend thousands or maybe even tens of thousands of dollars on flight time. Not only that, every time you make a mistake everybody on the frequency gets to hear it. And that isn’t fun.
With my course you’ll learn everything in just a few hours. And you’ll learn it for less than the cost of a single flight. AND if you don’t like my course I’ll refund your money and send you a check for $25 on top of it!
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Don’t wait
You owe it to yourself to become the greatest pilot you can be. Aviation is a wonderfully rewarding pursuit. But it is also a demanding field that requires expertise and knowledge. Those who are unwilling to strive for excellence in every aspect of their flying should re-evaluate their decision to start flying in the first place. My course will not only make you better at radio communication, it will make you a better pilot. And that’s a promise I guarantee. So I urge you to order now.
